Friends,
In local communities across Canada this Saturday, May 10, folks of all ages and backgrounds will gather to affirm the good earth and the integrity of nature. And to work to find ways for us humans to be less destructive and more humble, respectful participants in the natural web of life. These gatherings are due to efforts of grassroots organizations across the country and local citizens. Come to affirm, celebrate, and work for a better way to access/use energy and share life on this planet!
See website: www.defendourclimate.ca Click onto “Find a rally” to locate an event in your community. And get your butt out there! 🙂
Thanks, folks.

Wonderful shout-out Tim! It just so happens that I am already participating in a wonderful day of celebration and tradition that day. The Battle river is a prairie fed river system that supports Camrose and many other communities along the way. The First Nations nearby, led by Roy and Judy Luis, will be hosting the 3rd of a 4-year ritual honouring and thanking the river for its constant meandering and life giving. I have missed the last 2 ceremonies and I’m thrilled to finally be taking part. I’ll make sure to get some photos and post a follow-up blog about the event. I hope you’ll do the same to share your experience of the day!

Thank you, Leslie. Blessings on your day!
