Too often our studies mirror our lives:  hurried, scattered, and busy.  If we are to transform our relationship with the natural world, silence, stillness and listening must also be a part of our education – for if we cannot hear ourselves, how are we to listen to nature?

Thus the cultivation of a quiet and contemplative spirit will provide the basis for our exploration of “Spirit of the Land” and the recognition of our interdependent relationship with the natural world.
