The Spirit of the Land Foundation was created in 2019 to continue the legacy generated by the Spirit of the Land community program at Augustana, U of A Campus, Camrose.
Over the past 7 years students as well as many individuals from the larger community entered into a common journey to explore our relationship with the land and with each other. The program heightened the awareness of participants to the need to care for and nurture an environment that provides for our livelihood as well as our mental, emotional and spiritual well-being.
The Foundation will focus on providing opportunities for place based, hands-on learning activities in the community and surrounding rural areas.
